Domaine Roger Belland is one of the largest estates in Santenay. Interestingly, the vineyards have grass between the rows that is trimmed 3-4 times a year. According to Roger, this method produces smaller berries with a greater concentration in flavour. The Domaine offers a fine range of red Santenay; Commes is the most elegant and best to drink young. Beauregard is firmer and fuller with more black fruit aromas and tannic structures.
