Since 2005, Damien Livera has taken over the family’s domaine and is the fourth generation of Livera winemakers in Gevrey. He has quickly established himself as one of the top young winemakers in the Côte de Nuits; The wines that are both striking in their fidelity to the Livera family’s exemplary terroir and memorable for their uncanny ability to translate Gevrey’s earthy seduction to the glass. Grapes receive a very light pressing, and there is relatively low lees contact. A glorious wine that has ultra-seductive black cherry, packed full of spices.
