Description

Domaine Lucien Muzard & Fils is run by the dedicated duo of brothers Claude and Hervé Muzard, the ninth generation to manage this family domaine that traces its history back to 1645. The vineyard incorporates both organic and biodynamic principles in their farming; Gentle vinification using remontage with ageing oak. All fruits are delicately handled and mostly de-stemmed.

While Santenay has a reputation for being more “rustic”, the wines from Lucien Muzard & Fils lean towards elegancy, showing bright, attractive red fruits in youth, and acquired the structure needed for serious aging as well.
