Cyprien Arlaud has been widely acknowledged as among the best producers of his generation and has established himself as among the finest producers from the village of Morey St. Denis.

Since taking charge of the Domaine in 1997, his focus was on purity and elegance and to make wines with as little intervention as possible in order to preserve the natural expression of the site, the use of wood is very measured at this address with about 20% – 30% new oak on average. The resulting wines of Arlaud can be characterised by elegant poise, balance and the right amount of intensity with nothing out of place. There is freshness, depth, minerality as well as a velvety texture to his wines.
