Description

Domaine Anne and Hervé is a hidden treasure of Burgundy located in the heart of Chambolle-Musigny. The dual took over the property in 1990, inheriting old vines from the premier cru sites in Chambolle and Morey St. Denis. The vineyards are largely organically farmed with ploughing done by horse. Hervé Sigaut and wife Anne keep a close watch on yields to curb overproduction.

There is minimal intervention in the winery and the use of new oak is carefully managed in order not to mask the terroir characteristics. The wines are bottled without fining or filtration and are racked only once; This attention to detail at the vineyards and in the winery has resulted in small berries which produce intense and mineral wines.
