Jean-Philippe Fichet is one of Burgundy’s greatest talents—and his wines are every bit as extraordinary as he is. The Fichet wines are always fine and fresh, aromatic on the nose with ripe flavours, soft texture but well balanced with a clean, crisp finish. Always showing well when young and ages gracefully.

The Meursault Les Gruyaches is mineral, dry, elegant, spicy and delicate, with a much more opulent length in the mouth. It is full, racy, pure, rounder: a very good wine for aging.
